Mom Babes Book

About The Mom Babes Books!

This book is your sisterhood: 18 moms who’ve been there, drank cold coffee and lived through the mess of motherhood. We are sparking conversation about the ways women persevere through the hilarious, surprising, and sometimes heartbreaking experiences life throws at them. We hope readers will see a little bit of themselves in these stories.

The MomBabes: A Motherhood Anthology Volume 2 is a special collection of personal essays lovingly crafted by a collection of women who invite you to journey with them through the wide spectrum of motherhood experiences and all their complexities.

Readers will see a little bit of themselves in these stories. The pages explore the most meaningful and often vulnerable pieces of our lives. The places we have stumbled, learned, and found beauty. Instead of offering advice, we offer you ourselves. Our hearts, our truths, our embarrassing confessions, our biggest fears, and those little midnight epiphanies that keep us up at night.

The writers in this collection share their paths to self-acceptance and these stories offer a different kind of motherhood reality. The place where the filter comes off, struggle and strength are celebrated, and we realize we are more alike than different.

Why I decided to publish my story

From the time we decided we'd try to have kids until the time I got pregnant, three years elapsed. I learned a lot about my body and (in)fertility during that time. I searched for information on lifestyle, diet and exercise for "maximizing fertility", and it wasn't that easy to find.

I also felt a sense of shame and inadequacy at not being able to get pregnant in those years. I believe those are feelings shared by many on their (in)fertility journeys and it's something we should talk about.

My story is about my personal fertility journey, those experiences and what I learned. Thanks to The Mom Babes, A Motherhood Anthology, Volume 2, I had the guts to share my experience.

Thanks so much for reading and sharing the book - I think there is something in there for every woman.

At the very least, I hope my story, and the others, will be relatable to someone out there going through a similar process.
